In this role, you will be essential in keeping our dairy and frozen sections stocked, organized, and inviting for customers. Your customer service skills will shine as you assist shoppers and ensure that our Dairy department operates smoothly.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Ensure dairy cases, storage areas, and workspaces are clean and safe for both employees and customers.
• Stock and maintain appealing dairy displays, focusing on organization, presentation, and accurate pricing.
• Regularly check for and remove expired or spoiled items to maintain product quality.
• Engage warmly with customers, helping them with inquiries and guiding them in product selections.
• Inspect and document received products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Manage promotional materials and signs to enhance product visibility and sales.
• Operate essential equipment safely and effectively by following all safety guidelines.
• Stay informed about products and preparation techniques to provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular walks through the department to maintain an organized and tidy environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support team success.

Important Age Restrictions

Team Members under 18 are restricted from the following tasks:

• Using a knife (other than safety cutters)
• Using a ladder
• Operating compactor equipment
• Operating motorized or electronic powered equipment
• Working in cold storage for extended periods

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrates mutual respect, embracing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• Possesses a positive attitude and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Effective communication abilities, capable of following directions and collaborating within a team.
• Able to efficiently perform repetitive tasks while multitasking and maintaining organization.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing 40-60 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to walk significant distances during shifts.
• Compliant with safety, health, and regulatory guidelines.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as required.

Pay Range

This position offers a competitive pay range between $17.65 - $22.95 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
