We're looking for a detail-oriented Silicone Finish Artist to bring our hyper-realistic body parts to life. In this role, you won't just be "painting", you'll be sculpting with color and texture to bridge the gap between a casting and a convincing anatomical model.
If you have a master'seye for skin tones and a surgeon's hand for seamless repairs, we would love to have you on our team.
salary: $23 - $23.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities
- Surface Perfection: Inspect silicone castings for blemishes or voids. Use industry-standard techniques to execute "invisible" repairs, ensuring every piece meets high-tier aesthetic standards.
- Finishing & Assembly: Seam, trim, and remove flashing/sprues. Blend edges meticulously to ensure a natural, seamless appearance across assembled components.
- Hyper-Realistic Painting: Apply silicone-based paints and shading. You'll use color theory to build depth, translucency, and lifelike skin tones.
- SFX Artistry: Assist with urethane wound dressing and "blood" applications. You will also be trained in the art of hair punching to add that final layer of realism.
- Final Integration: Glue and assemble complex components (e.g., throat mechanisms and head skins) and dress units in costume elements for final presentation.
- Studio Maintenance: Keep your workspace and specialized tools in gallery-ready condition while cross-training in advanced fabrication, sculpting, and casting techniques.
