Job Summary/Description:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies children with speech, language, or hearing disorders; plans and executes assessment and instruction according to the needs of each child and current legal regulations administering and assessing diagnostic information and consultations with teachers, parents, and others concerned with the child; maintains student records, attendance accounting, pupil progress reports, and performs related tasks as required; participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings, staff meetings, and others as required. Travel between school sites required; mileage reimbursed.

Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential or other California credential authorizing service as an itinerant speech clinician or speech and hearing therapist; or valid California Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
