The People eXperience and Technology Central Science (PXTCS) team is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization.

PXTCS is a a multidisciplinary science team that develops innovative solutions to make Amazon Earth's Best Employer.

You will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing complex calendars, partnering with leadership to establish and maintain operating mechanisms, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating travel. You will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities

  • Proactively oversee and manage calendars for PXTCS Director

  • Partner closely with other EA teams to collaborate on projects, events, and share information

  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and judgment while working with sensitive information

  • Organize and support team offsites multiple times a year

  • Coordinate international and domestic travel

  • Manage expense report coordination and submission

  • Work closely with the leadership team and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization

  • Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team including use of Outlook, Slack, SharePoint, and Asana

  • High judgment and decision making in an ambiguous environment

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

A day in the life

  • Actively resolve calendar conflicts and work backwards to ensure executives are able to prepare for upcoming deadlines

  • Communicate frequently with leaders, peer EAs, and PXTCS team members to relay critical information and set expectations

  • Work on project-oriented tasks, such as event planning, travel planning, and business operations

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience managing multiple calendars

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
