Royalty Staffing is partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection. to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge driving technology.

You will report to the Sunnyvale office until the end of May, prior to that you will be based in San Francisco.

Location – Sunnyvale, CA

Work environment – Onsite/field

Pay rate – 28 USD Per Hour

Assignment duration – Ongoing contract

Available Shifts:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM: Wed-Sun | Thur-Mon | Fri-Tue
2:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Fri-Tue | Sat-Wed | Sun-Thur | Wed-Sun | Thur-Mon

What You'll Do:

• Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
• Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
• Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
• Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
• Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.

Requirements

• 2 plus years of professional driving experience in rideshare, delivery, driving for field operational roles or other related experience

• Basic vehicle knowledge to perform vehicle checks, ability to drive for long duration (6 hours in the car per day)
• General understanding of technology related to hardware, software or electronic devices
• Able to pass a motor vehicle check with a clean record for the previous 3 years
• Able pass a typing test with a score of 45 WPM
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
