JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global's Client is seeking a mid-level to senior PCB Layout Engineer / PCB Designer to support the design and layout of complex, space-constrained, high-performance PCBs. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical depth, adaptability, and the ability to balance multiple designs and priorities simultaneously. You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, RF, and manufacturing engineers to deliver production-ready designs that meet strict performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of professional PCB layout experience using Cadence Allegro

• Demonstrated experience with HDI designs, including microvias and high-density routing

• Hands-on experience designing flex and rigid-flex PCBs

• Strong understanding of high-speed layout principles, power distribution, and manufacturability - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple designs simultaneously

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in consumer electronics, robotics, aerospace, or autonomous systems

• Startup or small, highly collaborative hardware team experience

• Exposure to high-speed interfaces, embedded computing platforms, RF, or camera systems

• Experience supporting prototypes through EVT/DVT/PVT cycles
