Administrative Clerk
Job Location: Vallejo, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $31-$32.01/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
Description of Position: Do you have experience as an Administrative Clerk working for a government agency? We are seeking a professional and customer-focused candidate to support the front office operations at a housing authority. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong clerical skills and experience in a public-facing environment. This is a temporary assignment starting April 4th to June 30th, but may extend.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide customer assistance at the front counter
• Perform general clerical duties in a government office setting
• Type and proofread a variety of documents for accuracy and completeness
• Operate office equipment including copier, fax machines, and computers
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
• Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor when interacting with the public

Description of Company: You will be supporting a government agency in a city in Solano County.
Experience Required:

• Previous experience as an Administrative Clerk, preferably in a government agency
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to proofread documents accurately
• Proficiency with general office equipment and customer systems
• Experience in housing or housing program is a plus
