NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Environmental Protection Agency through the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Reviewing and approving Lead Abatement Certification OR BA/BS Degree

  • Customer Service
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, Copying Machine, Scanner
  • MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Duties:

Serves as a technical expert on Lead Abatement Certifications and Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) requirements under Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), independently performing analytical reviews of certification applications and providing specialized technical assistance that supports EPA?s regulatory implementation.
  • EPA administers lead-based paint abatement regulations. This position is responsible for processing and providing recommendations for the approval of applications for Lead Abatement Certifications. Serves as an expert in the lead certification process and provides technical assistance for the Renovation, Repair and Painting program under the Toxic Substances Control Act. 70%
  • Manages data related to certifications and accreditations for lead-based paint professionals 15%
  • Provides Technical assistance to the regulated community and the general public 15%
