Position Overview
We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a progressive team of imaging specialists dedicated to exceptional patient care. With cutting-edge ultrasound technology at your disposal, you'll carry out diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals, and play a part in providing reassurance to patients through swift and precise imaging.
Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound tests, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams, clearly explaining each step with empathy
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly reporting any issues
- Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent is required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Strong technical skill set in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
