Description - Your Role Awaits
- Conduct a variety of clinical lab tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and beyond-strictly adhering to established lab protocols.
- Ensure the integrity of test results through meticulous result analysis, troubleshoot when issues arise, and keep lab equipment calibrated and well-maintained.
- Assist in specimen collection, preparing samples for testing, while reinforcing best practices in lab operations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all procedures, training new staff or students, and contributing to lab quality assurance processes.
- Create and uphold a safe and tidy lab environment, while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
- Stay current with certification requirements throughout your tenure.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and adept problem-solving abilities, particularly in demanding scenarios.
- Show outstanding organizational capabilities and a keen eye for detail in quality control processes and documentation.
