Summary:

Meta is seeking a Research Scientist to join its Meta Superintelligence Labs organization, focused on making significant advances in foundational modeling. We develop voice frontier models spanning contextual ASR, TTS, speech-to-speech, and other capabilities.

  1. Perform research to advance the state of the art in speech and audio LLMs

  2. Work with researchers and engineers in a highly collaborative environment to achieve goals and milestones

  3. Influence the future of research in frontier modeling with detailed technical reports

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  2. Ph.D. and established track record of leading and/or contributing to influential research, e.g. as evidenced by high-impact publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ACL, Interspeech and ICASSP)

  3. Experience communicating research for public audiences of peers, as well as non-technical audiences

  4. 3+ years of industry or equivalent research experience in AI research and related fields

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Direct experience in generative AI, and LLM research

  2. Hands-on experience applying RL techniques to fine-tune large language models

  3. Hands-on experience on speech processing (ASR, TTS, S2S, etc.)

  4. Relevant candidates will have a track record on developing speech and audio large language models and experience with posttraining and evaluation of LLMs

Public Compensation:

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
