Provide essential mobile imaging and diagnostic services to a variety of healthcare settings, including nursing homes and care facilities throughout the San Francisco area. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality portable X-ray exams and EKG recordings, supporting timely diagnosis and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) X-rays, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically accurate images.
- Safely transport and handle portable X-ray equipment to and within diverse care environments.
- Conduct EKGs as needed and transmit results to cardiology specialists for interpretation.
- Submit and scan all exam-related paperwork and billing documents following established protocols.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of vehicle and imaging equipment.
- Adhere to physical demands of the role, including pushing or pulling equipment up to 50 lbs multiple times per day, with accommodations available as needed.
- Proficiency in performing mobile X-ray imaging in varied healthcare settings.
- Ability to conduct EKG testing when required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation accuracy.
- Capacity to work independently while maintaining effective communication.
- Physical stamina to handle equipment transport and setup safely.
- Prior experience in portable radiography is highly preferred.
