Description - What You'll Do
- Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, in accordance with established protocols.
- Interpret analytical results for accuracy, address any errors, and perform essential preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
- Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and champion high-quality standards within the lab.
- Ensure a clean, compliant work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of starting the position.
- Maintain current certification throughout your tenure with us.
