Role Description

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience, preferably in tenant rights or plaintiff-side civil litigation, to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. The Associate Attorney will handle a variety of tasks, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, taking and defending depositions, providing legal advice, and representing clients in negotiations and hearings. The role also involves advocating for clients on tenant rights cases while working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals.


Qualifications

  • Experience in Law, with an emphasis on tenant rights and related legal proceedings
  • Knowledge of civil litigation and rules of procedure, and the ability to apply this expertise to client cases
  • Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough Research on complex legal matters
  • Proven proficiency in Negotiation, particularly in resolving disputes and securing favorable outcomes for clients
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Membership in good standing with the California State Bar
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice and tenant advocacy is a plus


Salary range: $120k-$165k DOE
