Maintenance TechnicianAs a Maintenance Technician, you are the reason our customers feel confident trusting us with their belongings. Your day-to-day includes:Performing a wide range of repair tasks using hand and power tools with minimal to no supervisionCompleting general carpentry repairs, painting, caulking, cutting, and cosmetic container repairsOperating forklifts safely (we'll certify you if you're not already certified)Operating standard shop equipment and performing all required cutting operations safelyPressure washing and cleaning containersSafely rigging and lifting materials as part of repair workMoving materials using hand carts and assisting with staging and organizationFollowing repair instructions and technical guidance while exercising sound judgment in executionHelping maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, inside and outWhat You Bring to the WorkbenchHigh school diploma or equivalent13 years of experience in construction, building trades, assembly work, or a related hands-on fieldProven experience using hand and power tools independentlyAbility to read and understand English in compliance with OSHA safety requirementsBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsAbility to become forklift certified and safely operate material-handling equipmentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordA safety-first mindset and attention to detailStrong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasksSolid work ethicregular attendance and punctuality are essentialWorking Conditions & PhysicalityWorking in a warehouse/repair center that feels the seasons (non-climate controlled)Standing, walking, kneeling, and crouchingsometimes working above head level or on a ladderLifting and carrying items weighing up to 60 lbs.Working a flexible schedule that may include Saturdays and overtime when the business is boomingWhy You'll Love Working at PODSCompetitive compensation with opportunities for overtime.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, holidays, and more.Hands-on work with varietyno two days are exactly the same.Supportive team culture built on our core values: We Care, We Work as a Team, and We Find a Way.Ongoing training, including forklift certification, and real opportunities to grow your skills.CompensationOur salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes incentives, benefits, and other opportunities at PODS. In accordance with New York, Colorado, California, Washington and other applicable laws, PODS is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity.
