The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Executive Director (ED) and play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations of Inequality Media, a non-profit digital media organization co-founded by Robert Reich.Reporting directly to the ED, this role is equal parts organization, communication, and coordination perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The role supports a wide range of projects and tasks across administration, operations, fundraising, production, and communications and is an opportunity for someone to have a front seat to how an impactful and growing nonprofit is run.
This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities. The position proactively anticipates and identifies the needs of the Executive Director and organization. The ideal candidate is excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing nonprofit and shares our belief that economic inequality is a defining social justice issue of our time.
This is a full-time, hourly (nonexempt) position based out of Inequality Media's Berkeley office with the opportunity to work from home one to two days per week. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000.
