Role Overview

The Barista at 1X's Hayward Manufacturing Plant is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks, maintaining a clean and organized caf area, and restocking snacks and supplies daily. This role supports employees across the plant by providing fast, consistent service during busy shifts and keeping the caf running smoothly throughout the day.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary caf and service area
  • Restock snacks, beverages, and supplies daily
  • Provide fast, consistent service during high-volume periods
  • Support employees across the manufacturing plant throughout the day

Job Requirements

Must Have

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks
  • Willingness to learn and follow food safety and cleanliness standards

Nice to Have:

Food Handling experience

Food Handling Certifications are a plus
