Help Build Something That Changes Lives
A rapidly growing nonprofit organization in the Bay Area is expanding its clinical leadership team and seeking a Head of Services (Clinical) to support a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) serving youth with complex trauma histories.
This role exists because of program growth and expanded services. The organization is continuing to scale its impact supporting survivors of violence, trafficking, and trauma and this clinician will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to youth who need it most.
This is not a desk job. This role is embedded directly in the residential program working with youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support stabilization, healing, and long-term success.
If you are a licensed clinician who wants to do meaningful work with youth and be part of a mission-driven organization making a real difference, this opportunity offers the chance to have a direct impact every single day.
The Role
The Head of Services serves as the primary clinical provider for a six-bed STRTP residential program and will carry a caseload of approximately six youth while supporting the broader clinical needs of the program.
This clinician will deliver therapy, conduct assessments, coordinate care with partners, and ensure clinical documentation meets Medi-Cal and program standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to youth in the STRTP program
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
• Coordinate care with social workers, facility staff, schools, and external providers
• Support crisis intervention and stabilization when needed
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and Medi-Cal compliant records
• Participate in multidisciplinary team collaboration
