Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of extensive administrative, operations, or project management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Proven ability to support senior management and facilitate high-level meetings, including logistics, agenda creation, and material preparation
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), and collaboration tools like Trello, Lucidchart, and cSuite platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Strong communication skills, capable of managing internal and external stakeholder relationships with confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to independently prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and exercise sound judgment under minimal supervision
  • Skilled in managing logistics for large meetings, events, and travel arrangements, including vendor negotiations and expense reporting
  • Experience with document management, onboarding procedures, and interdepartmental coordination
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with Genentech or similar biotech organizational structures
  • Experience supporting CRO visits, peer review processes, or manuscript management
  • Ability to train or instruct others in the use of collaboration and productivity tools
  • Knowledge of website and newsletter content management systems (e.g., gSite, Currents)
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, life sciences, or related fields
  • At least 10 years of relevant administrative experience, with a history of supporting senior leadership in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environment
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Willingness to coordinate cross-functional activities, including facilities management, onboarding, and team events
  • Flexibility to support occasional off-hours or travel as needed for company events or meetings
