Materials Handler, Operations / Logistics

Location: San Carlos or Palo Alto Only

Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Swing Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

About 1X: We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance.

Role Summary: Support warehouse and logistics operations by moving materials, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth flow of components to production. This role keeps manufacturing and engineering supplied and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Move raw materials, subassemblies, and components using forklifts or other equipment.
• Prepare outgoing materials: scan, label, package, and stage for shipment or transfer.
• Complete required shipping and transfer documentation.
• Enter and retrieve parts data in warehouse or inventory systems.
• Respond to production material needs and adjust priorities to meet demand.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow safety procedures in handling and transport.
• Perform additional warehouse or logistics duties as needed.

Job Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials handling.
• Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Familiarity with scanning, labeling, and shipping documentation.
• Comfortable using warehouse or inventory management systems.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of performing physical work including lifting and material movement.
• Other relevant tasks as assigned

Interview Process:

3. Virtual Interview with the Warehouse Supervisor
4. Virtual Interview with the Sr. Manager, Materials & Logistics

Our goal is to complete the entire process within one week.

Compensation & Benefits:
