Provide expert radiation therapy treatments as a skilled Radiation Therapist, delivering precise care aligned with physician-developed treatment plans. This contract position demands independent judgment and advanced clinical skills to ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification by ARRT and CRT required
• Strong proficiency in radiation therapy procedures
• Ability to confidently assess patients and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Commitment to adhering to all regulatory standards and facility policies
• Experience in performing specialized radiation treatments and potentially orienting new staff

Location: This role is based in Oakland, CA, a vibrant city known for its diverse culture and close proximity to beautiful natural settings including Lake Merritt and regional parks. Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and precise radiation treatments according to prescribed plans
• Monitor patient condition attentively during procedures
• Maintain strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Foster patient and family confidence through thorough communication and compassionate care
• May assist in training or orienting new department staff

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Day shift, no weekends or call duties)
