Senior Client Advisor - Construction Project Risk Management

Description:

Join our dynamic Construction team at Marsh as a Senior Client Advisor specializing in Project Risk Management. This position is hybrid, requiring you to work at least three days a week in our San Francisco office.

  • Collaborate with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives to devise, present, and execute tailored renewal and placement strategies that align with industry and product demands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently oversee significant accounts, coordinating team efforts to execute effective market strategies.

  • Fully understand clients' risk management strategies to ensure their complex needs are met comprehensively.

  • Conduct expert analysis on clients' risk exposures, offering solutions by recommending additional products and services to enhance their risk management practices.

  • Facilitate product renewals and placements through collaboration with various leaders across all applicable zones.

  • Identify new product opportunities by engaging prospective clients and presenting tailor-made innovative solutions.

  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, ensuring their risk management challenges are proactively addressed.

  • Ensure high-quality delivery of client materials, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

  • Engage in high-level client discussions, demonstrating your expertise in problem-solving regarding coverage areas and client needs.

  • Act as a thought leader within our organization, keeping abreast of evolving trends in risk and insurance markets.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 8 years of experience in construction-related risk management or brokerage.

  • Strong understanding of insurance coverages.

  • Possession of a P&C license or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or advanced education.

  • Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM are highly regarded.

  • Exceptional analytical, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

The base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400, depending on experience, skills, training, location, and education. Performance-based incentives may also be available.
