About the Role

We are searching for a dynamic and innovative Director of Consumer Sales to lead the launch and growth of our consumer sales organization. In this essential role, you will craft and implement a robust go-to-market strategy for our extended reality (XR) consumer portfolio, focusing on enhancing both online and offline sales across the United States and Canada.

You will have full ownership of regional P&L, market share growth, and brand expansion, while adapting global strategies to meet the unique needs of North American consumers. As a key leader, you will build and manage a cross-functional team that includes sales, retail, consumer marketing operations, and user lifecycle management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the overall consumer market strategy and vision.
  • Conducting market intelligence to stay ahead of competitive trends.
  • Setting ambitious commercial targets and strategies for growth.
  • Launching and scaling the consumer sales and distribution model successfully.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in consumer electronics, XR/VR, gaming hardware, or other immersive technologies. You should have a proven track record of launching and scaling products in competitive markets, a strong grasp of retail and direct-to-consumer strategies, and expertise in building teams and establishing effective processes from scratch. Additionally, you will skillfully adapt global marketing frameworks to comply with local regulations and resonate with North American consumers.
