The Electric Planning Policy & Modernization (EPPM) team is looking for an intern to support the development and enhancement of distribution planning tools based on advanced automated analytics of PG&Es distribution grid. The successful intern will be interested in learning how PG&E plans for Distributed Energy Resources (e.g., solar PV, energy storage, energy efficiency, and demand response) and can use analytical tools to clearly represent our planning processes and enable strategies to execute our portfolio of work to internal and external stakeholders. The successful intern will help EPPM drive numerous initiatives including but not limited to: Statistical data analysis and data validation to support publication of the data on a public map that includes information for the use of Distributed Energy Resources developers. Extract information from various databases for analysis to answer key business questions.
