Perform and support quality functions such as nonconformance resolution, first article inspection, root cause analysis, corrective actions, containments, statistical process control, etc. Collaborate with design engineering teams to develop standards for part drawings, including identification of key characteristics, dimensioning and GD&T, and first article inspection plans for electro-mechanical assemblies. Write and maintain quality management system (QMS) command media to govern how we design, build, and test hardware. Perform process validation for new manufacturing processes in collaboration with production engineering. Monitor key quality metrics such as product yield and in-process inspection results to help identify trends and areas for improvement. Participate in quality reviews and audits to ensure adherence to process requirements and design intent.
