Role Summary/Purpose:

The Vice President of Analytics for Sam's Club will report to the Senior Vice President of Sam's Club Analytics. This pivotal role focuses on portfolio diagnostics, forecasting, and investment optimization to drive new account growth and increase profitable purchase volume for the Sam's Club credit program. You will provide strategic decision support for acquisition investments and deep collaboration with the Marketing team to enhance targeting, segmentation, channel strategy, and measurement of acquisition initiatives.

This position involves cross-functional partnerships with teams in Product, Marketing, Credit, and Technology/Operations to deliver valuable insights related to customer behavior, campaign performance, and strategy forecasting. As a hands-on leader, you will leverage analytical and data-mining tools to become a trusted advisor to senior leaders and client partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive program acquisitions strategy aligned with business objectives, setting analytics goals, and acting as an insights-driven strategist for senior leadership, including General Managers and Marketing SVPs.

  • Lead the program acquisition learning agenda in partnership with the acquisitions marketing team, managing the complete analytical cycle - ideation, data analysis, deriving insights, and presenting actionable business recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Serve as a strategic and analytics consultant for significant marketing initiatives, guiding the design, analysis, and measurement phases of projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide impactful insights into program acquisition tactics.

  • Mentor junior analysts and manage the workload of offshore teams, ensuring a high caliber of execution in analytics delivery, measurement, and reporting projects.
