This position is one of performing Respiratory Therapy modalities in a progressive health care environment. On a day-to-day basis, the therapist will often have to perform technical procedures on complex life support systems, and make on the spot decisions that affect patient care In a wide variety of settings from neonatal to geriatric. The therapist also has the responsibility for assuring that all prescribed therapy is performed with quality. Job Description:EDUCATION - Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma. Other: Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURERCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner. BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. Active membership in the A. A. RC. (American Association for Respiratory Care) recommended.
