New Board Roles start in 2026

USA Unify Inc 501(c)(4) and Progressive Power is a National Social Welfare Political Organization, based in San Francisco, CA. Our 2026 mission is to help Democrats win in Congress, particularly underserved districts. We advocate for democracy, working people,science, and equality, With over a million followers on social media platforms we run social advocacy campaigns and via Act Blue we also run Advertising Campaigns of National Importance.

Role Description

We are currently seeking volunteer Board Members to join our team and play an essential role in guiding the strategic direction and maintaining our mission. Board Members will meet once per month or every other month via Zoom (approximately one hour per session). Board Members will also guide volunteer interns at UC Berkeley, Stanford, UC San Diego, and Arizona State University. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in content, media, politics, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend Monthly Meetings: Participate in a monthly 1-hour Zoom meeting to discuss goals, initiatives, and strategies.
• Collaborate with the Committee: Communicate as needed with Committee members who oversee various organizational teams.
• Policy and Bylaw Development: Review and assess corporate policies and contribute to the development of bylaws to guide the organization's activities.
• Financial Oversight: Help with financial growth and fundraising

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience on a Board is helpful but not required.
• Commitment: Willingness to dedicate one hour per month to board meetings and additional time as needed to communicate with team members.
• Leadership: Interest in guiding an organization's strategic mission, along with a commitment to online safety and protecting vulnerable populations.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members across various channels.
