Maintenance Crew Member

The Maintenance department supports the daily onsite cleaning and maintenance operations of the San Francisco Giants Ballpark. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning commercial spaces. The San Francisco Giants are hiring part-time Maintenance Crew Members to join the Maintenance department for the 2026 baseball season (tent. March October). Crew members will help with the clean-up and full-service maintenance throughout the ballpark during events and baseball games.

Responsibilities may vary depending on crew assignment

You will respond to any spills and/or any other cleaning-related duties when dispatched by maintenance supervisors/leads accordingly.

You will empty waste baskets, vacuum, dust, and clean windows in the assigned area.

You will keep assigned public restrooms stocked and clean at all times.

You will clean defecting toilets, counter tops, wall spot in stalls and petitions.

You will sweep and mop designated areas which may include ramps, escalators, concourse areas, and restrooms.

You will clean and disinfect surfaces using electrostatic sprayers and approved CDC chemicals.

You will have the ability to strip, wax, and buffer floors (not required, but a plus).

You are certified forklift driver (not required, but a plus)

Current Group Schedules

Upon being hired, employees are required to choose one group to consistently be a part of. Most groups have a set of schedules based on the start of the game/event. Placement in groups is subject to department need and availability. Group schedules are as follows:

Hose: 6am 1:30pm AND 2am 9:30am

AM: 7am 2:30pm AND 1am 8:30am

Event: 3:45pm 11pm AND 9:45am 5pm

PM: 10pm 5:30am

Requirements/Qualifications

1 year Janitorial or porter experience (preferred)

Customer service experience

Organized, self-motivated, quick learner, with excellent work ethic

Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, for 6 hours

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and climb ladders as needed

Must be able to electronically submit monthly availability in advance

Active mode of communication (i.e. phone number and/or email address)
