Plaintiff Employment Attorney (Remote – California)

About the Role

The position focuses on representing employees in matters involving wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and PAGA claims. The role offers meaningful case ownership and direct client impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff employment matters from intake through resolution
  • Draft complaints, motions, and oppositions, including dispositive motions
  • Conduct written discovery and depositions
  • Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
  • Engage in settlement negotiations
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients throughout litigation

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license
  • 2+ years of plaintiff employment litigation experience (wage & hour and discrimination matters preferred)
  • Strong research and motion practice skills
  • Deposition and mediation experience
  • Ability to independently manage cases in a remote environment
  • Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation preferred

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
