Role Summary

Cinnamon is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to lead the development of our pharma facing analytics and dashboard strategy.

This role will own the client facing pharma dashboard built within our GCP environment and Looker ecosystem. You will pull, validate, analyze, and translate complex healthcare data into clear, executive ready insights that support enterprise pharma relationships.

You will work in lockstep with the VP of Business Development, ensuring she is always equipped with accurate, compelling, and up to date analytics to support active deals and existing partners. This role may participate in client conversations and must be comfortable representing Cinnamon's data story externally.

This is a highly visible, commercially aligned analytics role that bridges data engineering, business intelligence, and client strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Pharma Dashboard Ownership

• Lead development and evolution of Cinnamon's pharma facing dashboard in Looker or Looker Studio within GCP
• Define and standardize KPIs aligned to contractual commitments, utilization metrics, and commercial goals
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, scalable, and executive ready
• Continuously improve visualizations and data storytelling for external stakeholders

Data Pulling and Analysis

• Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries in AlloyDB and BigQuery
• Perform deep dive analyses to answer pharma specific questions around performance, utilization, patient access, and outcomes
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within large healthcare data sets
• Validate data integrity and implement data quality checks

Commercial Partnership Support

• Work directly with the VP of Business Development to translate pharma requests into reporting requirements
• Work backwards from what pharma needs to close and renew deals, identifying data gaps and proposing solutions
• Prepare data summaries and insights ahead of client meetings
• Potentially participate in client calls to explain methodology, KPIs, and findings

Cross Functional Data Alignment

• Align pharma reporting needs with health system data realities
• Partner with Product and Engineering to refine schemas, improve performance, and expand available data fields
• Contribute to schema updates and performance optimizations

Governance and Best Practices

• Maintain HIPAA compliant handling of protected health information
• Store queries, documentation, and dashboards in GitHub following pull request workflows
• Document recurring reports, definitions, and QA procedures

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of hands on SQL experience working with healthcare data sets
• Strong proficiency in BigQuery and AlloyDB or similar GCP database technologies
• Experience building dashboards in Looker, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools
• Experience translating business or client questions into structured reporting requirements
• Familiarity with healthcare data including patient demographics, encounters, insurance, and orders
• Comfort presenting findings to non technical and executive audiences
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and secure data handling
