Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team in a biotech environment. This role partners closely with Category Leaders and Category Managers to execute sourcing initiatives, manage contract workflows, and support procurement operations across multiple enterprise spend areas. This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience with ERP systems, contract coordination, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end SOW, budget, and contract development workflows
• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Coordinate contract reviews through CLM tools (Agiloft preferred)
• Partner with Legal and Business Owners to ensure contract alignment
• Support RFI/RFP processes, including vendor communications and bid analysis
• Assist with vendor evaluations and supplier meetings
• Manage vendor accruals, budget tracking, and forecasting
• Resolve AP and receiving discrepancies
• Support category initiatives and cross-functional procurement projects

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience
• Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• ERP system experience required (SAP preferred)
• Experience supporting RFP/RFI processes
• Strong SOW and contract workflow coordination experience
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel
• Ability to collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
• High attention to detail and compliance awareness (GMP/GxP preferred)

Preferred Experience

• Agiloft or other CLM tools (Icertis, Ironclad, DocuSign CLM)
• Vendor risk management platforms
• Accrual and forecasting processes
• Category-based sourcing models
• Supplier scorecards and supplier performance management

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
