This is responsible, professional, and managerial work overseeing household hazardous waste program activities, which includes the residential and business programs in
Marin County (excluding Novato).
An employee assigned to this classification manages the activities and operation of the operations of the Marin Household Hazardous Waste Facility and supports Zero Waste Marin with other hazardous waste programs (solar panels, marine flares, thermostats) as needed.
Performs routine and complex technical and professional work including HHW coordination, implementation, monitoring, budgeting, and reporting.
Work is performed under the general direction of the Director of General Operations for Marin Sanitary Service and Zero Waste Marin.
