Amazon has launched a new research lab in San Francisco to develop foundational capabilities for useful AI agents. The role of Member of Technical Staff involves contributing directly to AI agent development, including model training, dataset design, and pre- and post-training optimization.

Responsibilities:
• You will contribute directly to AI agent development in an applied research role, including model training, dataset design, and pre- and post-training optimization.
• You will be hired as a Member of Technical Staff.

Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience

Preferred:
• PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or Masters degree
