Job Overview

Cardinal Education is seeking an in-person Test Administrator and Proctor (TAP) to support our team and offices in Woodside and Burlingame, CA! We are an extremely dynamic and collaborative company focused on providing top-tier expertise in admissions and tutoring to families.

Test Administrator and Proctors administer and proctor our standardized exams to students in Grades 4 through 12 in our Woodside and Burlingame, CA, offices. This is a part-time, in-person role with flexible, variable scheduling based on testing demand, primarily supporting weekend testing sessions. Shifts typically last 4-8 hours, and TAPs average 5 or more hours per week, depending on the testing schedule.

Testing sessions may be scheduled weeks in advance or occasionally on short notice, so responsiveness and scheduling flexibility are important.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the testing area and distribute appropriate tests
  • Serve as the face of Cardinal Education as you meet families and students
  • Meticulously time students for up to five exam types per proctor
  • Complete testing reports and submit required documentation such as answer sheet after each proctor
  • Light cleaning of the test room before and after each proctoring, including wiping down tables, vacuuming, and emptying trash cans
  • Other office work, such as scanning, organizing, and filing, etc.
Requirements

Eligibility
  • Car or personal vehicle (excluding bicycles) and a willingness to travel to both of our offices
  • Current driver's license, insurance, and active car registration
  • Flexibility to take on weekend proctoring on short notice
  • Available on weekdays to work for 5-15 hours per week
Experience:
  • No previous proctoring work experience is required. We will provide in-depth training and the opportunity to shadow proctors before proctoring solo. However, previous standardized testing experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with students in middle and high school is a plus

Compensation:
