Position SummaryThe Expeditor is responsible for overseeing the flow of service at the pass and acts as the primary communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. This role ensures accuracy, timing, and quality of every dish leaving the kitchen and plays a critical part in maintaining the rhythm and success of service.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage the pass during service, ensuring all dishes meet Quince standards for quality, presentation, and temperature
Coordinate timing and communication between all kitchen stations and FOH
Ensure accurate execution of tickets, dietary restrictions, and special requests
Maintain proper pacing and course progression throughout service
Anticipate service needs and resolve issues calmly and efficiently
Keep the pass clean, organized, and service-ready at all times
Support the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in maintaining service excellence
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
2+ years of experience in a fine-dining or Michelin-caliber kitchen preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Exceptional attention to detail and sense of urgency
Ability to remain composed in a high-pressure service environment
Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of hospitality
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
