Description:

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting located in Oakland, CA. This role involves supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development while collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluate students' needs.
  • Develop individualized intervention plans and provide counseling services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education planning.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support behavioral management initiatives.
  • Document services and maintain confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed to deliver consistent support.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and delivering counseling services in educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and protocols.
