General Summary:
Under general supervision, you will be responsible for zone maintenance, vehicle receiving and shipping, inventory scanning, vehicle movement (both on and off the lot), lot washing/merchandising, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute defined processes according to work instructions and/or standardized work
• Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities with your team
• Assist in training new associates under the guidance of Inventory Associate II and/or the Manager
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
• Maintain the security and daily upkeep of display areas and work-in-progress zones
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax
• Prepare vehicle and title packets for shipping to other locations
• Accurately scan vehicles to ensure product status
• Wash and vacuum customer returns and loaner vehicles
• Conduct front-lot wash
• Perform the Photo Station process
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs or storage
• Support Auctions as needed
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization according to CarMax 5S standards
• Complete tasks assigned by Flow Inventory Associate IVs and Managers

Minimum Qualifications:
The position requires the following:

• Current driver's license and alignment with CarMax DSEPS standards
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience preferred
• Capability to follow outlined processes and complete assigned certifications
• Able to lift up to 50lbs safely

Working Conditions:
This role encompasses both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include working in noisy or inclement weather conditions. Expect flexible hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. This position requires walking or standing for extended periods in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. You will be provided CarMax clothing to wear at all times while on duty, and it is essential to follow all CarMax, O.S.H.A., and EPA standards, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment and proper waste disposal.

Hourly Rate: $21.48 - $29.88

Benefits:
Associates are entitled to the following benefits except as required by state law:

• Earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year, accrued each pay period
• Vacation benefits range from 80 to 200 hours annually after a 90-day waiting period, based on years of service
• 8 hours of pay for 6 scheduled holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year
• Associates working on a holiday for business needs qualify for holiday premium pay
