Pay Rate: $20$25/hour Duration: Temporary, 23 months with potential to extend (leave coverage) Start Date: 3/2/26 Schedule: Hybrid In?office MondayThursday (4 days onsite) Remote Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a detail?oriented and organized Assistant Buyer to support the buying team during a maternity leave coverage. This role will assist with purchasing activities, data analysis, and coordination to ensure smooth day?to?day operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers, enjoys working with data, and can quickly learn new systems in a fast?paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support buying and purchasing activities through accurate data entry and analysis
• Maintain and update spreadsheets to track products, pricing, and inventory
• Assist with forecasting, calculations, and basic reporting
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Participate in Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings
• Help ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all buying activities

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong math skills and comfort working with numbers
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
• Fresh meat knowledge is a plus, but not required
