Company Overview: American Custom Private Security, Inc (ACPS) is a well-established for-profit corporation founded in 2008, providing both commercial and government contract security services. Our diverse team includes Unarmed and Armed Security Officers, Mobile Patrol Officers, Site Supervisors, and Account Managers. We are a full-service, State-licensed Security Provider, PPO# 16495, based in Stockton, CA.

Mandatory Position Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must:

• Hold a current and valid State of California Guard Card.
• Be willing to complete all required additional training.
• Possess a valid California Driver's License with no DMV points (if using a company or client vehicle).
• Be at least 18 years old.

Basic Hiring Requirements for Unarmed Position:

To be considered for employment, candidates must:

• Have at least one year of experience as an Unarmed Security Officer.
• Be flexible and willing to work varying schedules.
• Possess a valid High School Diploma, foreign equivalent, or GED Certificate.
• Have reliable transportation.
• If applicable, provide a valid Discharge Form DD214 for prior Military Experience.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written, and pass a Job Physical examination if required.
• Complete all necessary training & certifications for the role.
• Be skilled in using a cellphone and/or portable two-way radio.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to interact courteously with the public.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Essential Duties Include:

• Conducting security foot patrols.
• Monitoring site conditions for security or safety hazards.
• Using TrackTik Software for reporting via smartphones, tablets, or computers.
• Responding to alarms and notifying police or fire department when necessary.
• Verbally addressing rule violations.
• Controlling access points and allowing authorized personnel entry.
• Deter theft and monitor property removal.
• Investigating incidents and composing reports on accidents, suspicious activities, etc.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting customers, employees, and visitors courteously.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Adept at assessing and evaluating situations effectively.
• Capable of identifying and mitigating escalating conditions quickly.

Work Environment: Involves indoor and outdoor tasks, with temperature variations based on location, time of day, and season.

Physical Job Requirements: Standing and walking for extended periods, some sitting, with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
