Meta Robotics Studio (MRS) is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to spearhead the development and execution of our data collection and annotation strategy. In this role, you will establish and manage an in-house data operations team, collaborating directly with research and engineering teams. You will serve as the key contact for all data operations initiatives, working alongside various departments to create integrated solutions for human demonstration and teleoperation projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Foster cross-functional collaboration to develop scalable data collection and annotation methods.

  2. Create a software and metrics strategy to facilitate large-scale data collection and labeling for human demonstration, teleoperation, and simulation tasks.

  3. Ensure adherence to safety and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.

  4. Monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance and productivity of operators and annotators.

  5. Lead Monthly Business Reviews to present metrics and progress to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.

  • At least 12 years of Technical Program Management experience.

  • Expertise in leading extensive, cross-functional projects.

  • Background in data operations, annotation, and workforce management within a technical context.

  • Proven experience working collaboratively with research, engineering, safety, and operations teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic planning and effective communication.

  • Skill in navigating complex challenges and ambiguity to foster innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Familiarity with managing rapidly changing, startup-like initiatives.

  • Experience in optimizing the design of existing products or devices.

Public Compensation:

$199,000/year to $272,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
