We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an Escrow Assistant opportunity with the nation's leading provider of title insurance and transaction services, known for financial strength, stability, and a culture of innovation. The Escrow Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Order payoffs, final utilities, liens, judgments, bankruptcy docs, tax info, HOA letters/bylaws/financials/irrigation, and agent commissions; verify payoffs match title commitments and ensure current taxes are unpaid.
• Handle all pre-closing file requirements and maintain communication with the Escrow Officer on status.
• Prepare Power of Attorneys, Quit Claim Deeds, and disbursement files while verifying wire receipt/accuracy.
• Manage walk-ins, phone calls when Escrow Officer is unavailable, and assist other assistants/receptionists as needed.
• Assist with entering lender figures, printing closing documents/checks, and faxing figures to lenders/Realtors.
• Clean out files post-closing for loan package shipping, recordings, escrow fund follow-up, and scanning prep.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• 4-6 years of escrow or real estate support experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling walk-in traffic and phone inquiries.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Proficiency with escrow or title software.

Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
