Apartment Maintenance Technician - Contract Role

Oakland, CA 94612

You will support daily maintenance operations at a busy apartment community, helping keep units and common areas in top condition. This role offers steady weekday hours and competitive pay.

Pay: $25-$26/hr based on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract Role

Job Responsibilities

• To complete work orders, repairs, and general maintenance tasks

• To troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues

• To prepare units for move-ins through make-ready work

• To maintain cleanliness and safety across the property

• To assist with emergency or urgent maintenance needs as required

Required Skills

• Previous apartment maintenance or building repair experience

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools; must own tools

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or appliance repair

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
