Along with other Janitors, performs janitorial duties at the warehouse including cleaning restrooms, floors (vacuuming, sweeping, moping), emptying trash and recycling, dusting, and cleaning of other spills or special requests as needed for all departments at the Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a weekly inventory of all supplies.
Notifies leader of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Safeguards company property by reporting any incidents of theft or misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
Notifies leader concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Cleans up customer spills, as needed.
Stocks refrigerates with water and soda, as needed.
Sets up all conference rooms, as instructed.
Assists in set-up and break down for Mission Tours.
Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms including cleaning and sanitizing sinks, urinals and toilets, replenish toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap.
Services, cleans, and supplies all team member breakrooms including cleaning and sanitizing sinks, counters, tables, appliances, replenishes paper towels and hand soap/sanitizers. Cleans out refrigerators weekly.
Gathers and empties trash and recycling in all restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and warehouse.
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Dusts furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Cleans walls and doors with appropriate cleaners.
Sweeps outside entrances/break areas and parking lots, empties trash cans and ash trays.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
May be required to mix water and chemicals to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
May be required to spot clean carpets.
May be required to change light bulbs.
Ensures supply cabinets/closets are secured at all times.
Cleans up various bio-hazardous materials with appropriate cleansers, tools, and procedures.
Reports all team member injuries in a timely fashion including calling injury hotline, completing an incident report and notifying your leader.
Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
Responsible for washing and drying of rags and mop heads.
Holds keys to different janitorial equipment and closets.
Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
High School education/GED or equivalent work experience
One-year experience in janitorial services, or related field
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
Ability to speak and read English proficiently
Pay Range Minimum $18.15
