Role Overview

As a PetsHotel Team Leader, you will provide outstanding service to pet parents and the pets we care for, upholding our mission and values. You will ensure a welcoming and safe environment, maintain pet health care standards, and oversee the hotel's operations alongside the experience leader. You will take on responsibilities such as managing associates, ensuring the facility's cleanliness, and providing pet care.

Your Responsibilities

Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Leadership:
• Support associate experiences through training, mentoring, and fostering growth.
• Oversee daily task completion and associate performance.
• Lead and direct your team during shifts.
• Address associate concerns and support their engagement.
• Hotel Operations:
• Ensure excellent experiences for pet parents both online and in person.
• Manage pet health care, ensuring medications and nutrition are properly administered.
• Coordinate transportation of pets to veterinary appointments when necessary.
• Oversee check-in and check-out processes for guests, gathering necessary health information.
• Maintain hotel safety standards and cleanliness.
• Execute store opening and closing procedures.
• Organize hotel events and promotional activities.
• Drive merchandise and service sales.
• Report safety incidents and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in customer service or retail.
• Prior leadership experience is a plus.
• Must be available for full-time work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Exposure to pet hair and occasional noise from animals; moderate noise levels in general.
