Position Overview
Charlie Mike has partnered with a leading Construction Company in search of a Construction Project Leader. This exciting role is crucial as you will be overseeing all facets of construction projects from inception through completion. You will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. We are looking for a skilled candidate with strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities, along with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Create and manage comprehensive project plans, establishing timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and ensure effective financial tracking and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and motivate construction teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies, providing project updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Quality Control: Guarantee that all work adheres to industry standards and meets client expectations while following safety protocols and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, preventing delays or unexpected costs.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Oversee the permitting process and ensure all legalities and regulatory approvals are met.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor project timelines and ensure all tasks are completed punctually, making adjustments as required.
  • Reporting: Prepare and send regular project updates, including budget reports, progress evaluations, and final project summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
  • Deep understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
