Job Title: Data Analyst (Contract - Junior/Mid-Level)
bout the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst contractor to support our Search & Discovery teams.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is proactive with LLMs, has hands-on data experience, and is eager to work hard with the potential to convert into a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities End to End LLM Evaluations and Insight Generation Rubric writing and LLM prompt development Scrape data using internal tools Collect and annotate golden labels Collaborate on calibrating the quality of our models Run evaluations on a continuous basis and maintain reporting Analyze results and generate insights to improve evaluations and the overall process Third Party Vendor Coordination & Task Management Serve as the primary liaison between DoorDash and third-party vendor teams Manage assignments, deadlines, and QA for vendor evaluators Provide instructions, clarifications, and feedback Internal Team Support & Triage Act as the first point of contact for inbound questions related to evaluation tasks Route questions to the correct stakeholders Track open items and ensure timely follow-through
Required Skills & Experience Prior experience in data analysis or similar role Demonstrated proactive interest in LLMs and modern AI tools Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment Tools & Technical Skills Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets) Basic SQL (ability to write simple queries and troubleshoot results) Familiarity with Google Drive, and documentation
