Tomex AI is building AI for enterprise supply chains, solving one of the most expensive problems in the world: large enterprises routinely lose tens of millions each year because they cannot enforce the terms they negotiate.

We're targeting this massive opportunity and scaling rapidly. This fall, we're kicking off with multiple Fortune 500 companies across CPG, retail, healthcare, and more. We recently raised $5M from 8VC and top-tier angels, including Jeff Lawson (Founder & CEO of Twilio).

Tomex is led by Allen (CEO; former Chief of Staff at Zip, a $2.2B procure-tech company) and Michael (CTO; former Engineer #3 and AI Lead at Zip).

About the Role

We're hiring full-stack product engineers and AI engineers who want to learn rapidly, think independently, and take on founding-level ownership. This goes far beyond writing code - you'll influence product strategy, make core architectural decisions, and shape Tomex's trajectory.

You'll work directly with the founders, customers, and Fortune 500 supply chain leaders to build real systems that deliver quantifiable ROI from day one. If you want to found a company in the future, this role is intentionally designed for that level of exposure and development.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship core product features end-to-end across frontend, backend, AI, and infrastructure
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand workflows and translate them into product
• Collaborate with the founders on strategy, architecture, and prioritization
• Build AI-powered features using modern LLM systems, evaluation frameworks, and agentic workflows
• Own product surfaces from design → implementation → deployment → iteration
• Develop scalable systems in Python, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
• Help define engineering culture, standards, and operating rhythm
• Move fast, scope aggressively, and deliver meaningful business value

• Have 2-5 years of software engineering experience
• Demonstrate a clear trajectory of growth in career or school
• Have experience in a high-bar engineering environment (e.g., Ramp, Salesforce, etc.)
• Have owned products or features end-to-end
• Have worked at an early-stage startup or founded something yourself
• Are comfortable working directly with customers and moving quickly without structure
• Have experience with modern LLM tooling - evals, frameworks, agent-based systems
• Are motivated to work extremely hard in a high-agency, high-velocity early-stage environment
• Want to learn how to build companies, not just features

• Strong product sense and full-stack engineering ability
• Proficiency in Python, React, TypeScript
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems independently
• Strong communication, especially with customers
• Experience in new markets teams or true 0→1 product building
• A long-term desire to found a company
