About This Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager with deep SDLC expertise to lead a major platform modernization effort-a multiyear transformation focused on transitioning to a new vendorsupported platform.
This requires 5 days onsite in Omaha, Austin or Phoenix.
What You Will Work On
- Partner closely with product managers to align technical delivery with business goals and priorities
- Participate in and help lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring clear definition and prioritization of work
- Gather, clarify, and document functional and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate development activities across crossfunctional teams, ensuring work progresses according to plan
- Oversee testing efforts, validate deliverables, and ensure each sprint meets quality and acceptance criteria
- Identify and remove project blockers, escalate risks, and maintain clear communication across teams
- Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with established standards and best practices
- Mutual Fund industry experience is mandatory
- Proven track record delivering full SDLC projects across largescale, complex, multiyear initiatives
- Strong experience working with modern platforms, API development and integration, and backoffice / IT operations
- Advanced proficiency with Jira (required) for backlog management, sprint planning, and workflow oversight
- Experience with Rally is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a SCRUM team of approximately 10 offshore engineers (India), ensuring alignment, clarity, and consistent delivery
