The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) provides the youth of our city a sense of belonging and vital tools and experiences to succeed in life. Our services include academic support and college counseling, job placement and employment training, substance use and violence prevention education, crisis intervention and mediation, leadership development, technology and computer training. Title: Program Coordinator - REACH
Salary: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour; (8 hours/week)
Reports to: Program Director
Status: Part-Time; Non-Exempt, (Position Ends: 6/30/2026)
Program Summary:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Resilience Empowerment Academic Community Health (REACH) Program Coordinator is responsible for providing services, including peer-to-peer mentorship model with 20 youth (grade 9-12) each cohort for a total 40 youth who will compete in races against other youth teams. The program also enables youth to become physically fit, develop lifelong healthy habits, build confidence, self-esteem and character, connect with teammates and peers through team building and bonding activities, develop leadership skills and a commitment to civic engagement and bring positive changes to their community.
